Quincy Notre Dame is 9-1 against Quincy since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will welcome the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Quincy Notre Dame is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
Quincy Notre Dame barely beat Brown County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 10-2 win on Monday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Abram Wiewel made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 16 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those 16 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eli Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Gavin Doellman was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
Quincy Notre Dame was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Quincy didn't have quite enough to beat Sterling on Monday and fell 3-2.
Drake Gibson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on eight hits.
Quincy Notre Dame's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Quincy Notre Dame hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .342. However, it's not like Quincy struggles in that department as they've averaged .325. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Quincy Notre Dame skirted past Quincy 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
