Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northeast Nodaway). Everything went their way against the Stanberry Bulldogs on Thursday as the Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays made off with a 56-36 win. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Jays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Northeast Nodaway now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Stanberry, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays challenge the Gilman City Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northeast Nodaway has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Stanberry, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-53 defeat against North Andrew on the 13th.
