After two games on the road, Gore is heading back home. They will take on The Haskell Haymakers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Gore was the victim of a rough 28-8 defeat at the hands of Panama.
Meanwhile, Haskell had to suffer through a rough 60-16 loss at the hands of Pocola. Haskell was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.
Haskell's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dylan Ozinga, who rushed for 102 yards on only 13 carries, and Lucas King who picked up 95 receiving yards.
Gore's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Haskell, their loss was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Everything came up roses for Gore against Haskell in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 51-0 victory. Will Gore repeat their success, or does Haskell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
