The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down Dalton Academy 72-57. The win was just what Southeast Whitfield County needed coming off of a 67-37 defeat in their prior matchup.
Coy Jones was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Southeast Whitfield County's points. Another player making a difference was Skyler Pulliam, who scored 16 points.
Southeast Whitfield County's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Dalton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Southeast Whitfield County has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome North Murray at 12:30 p.m. on December 2nd. North Murray is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Dalton Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Ooltewah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
