Galesburg Christian had to suffer through a rough 64-33 loss at the hands of Quad Cities Christian. Galesburg Christian has struggled against Quad Cities Christian recently, as their game on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Quad Cities Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zeke Agbezouhlon out in front who scored 8 points along with 10 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobie Becker-Paradiso, who scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Galesburg Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Quad Cities Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Galesburg Christian will square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Quad Cities Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Morning Star Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. Morning Star Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Quad Cities Christian in their respective states (Morning Star Academy is ranked third in Iowa, while Quad Cities Christian is ranked 29th in Illinois).
