After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northampton County, Weldon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 63-50 victory over the Hobgood Charter Raiders. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The win snapped Weldon's losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record. As for Hobgood Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Weldon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 97-35 loss against Wilson Prep on the 7th. As for Hobgood Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-48 defeat against North East Carolina Prep on the 7th.
