The Lanett Panthers lost against the Callaway Cavaliers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lanett took a 49-34 bruising from Callaway. Lanett has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for DeShun Coleman, who scored 21 points along with six steals for Callaway. Bryceton Sanders was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five steals.
Lanett's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 7-13. As for Callaway, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.
Lanett and Reeltown will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Reeltown is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Callaway, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Landmark Christian at 7:30 p.m. Landmark Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
