Polk County won against R-S Central last Tuesday with 67 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Polk County Wolverines breezed by the Chase Trojans to the tune of 67-10. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kylie Lewis, who went 9 for 12 on her way to 20 points and eight rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kiera Littlejohn, who posted nine points and three blocks.

Polk County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 20 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Polk County's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.4 points. As for Chase, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Polk County has already played their next game, a 62-43 victory against East Rutherford on the 17th. As for Chase, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-14 defeat against Patton on the 17th.
