Baseball Recap: Chipley's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chipley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Sneads, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers blew past the Pirates 15-2 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chipley's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Sneads, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chipley will face off against Holmes County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sneads, they will challenge Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.95 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of.
