Fort Wayne North Side (Fort Wayne, Ind.) held on for a 21-7 victory over
Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, Ind.) on Saturday. The difference for the Redskins was that they ran for a touchdown.
After trailing 8-6 at the half, the Archers went ahead on a touchdown run with 8:00 remaining in the fourth.
Fort Wayne South Side's only touchdown came on a 78-yard run by
Shaton Harris in the first quarter.
Coming into the game Fort Wayne North Side had allowed 23.7 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding Fort Wayne South Side well below its season average of 16.1 points scored per game.
The win brought Fort Wayne North Side's winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for FWSS.
