The TMI-Episcopal Panthers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the St. Joseph Academy Bloodhounds at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but TMI-Episcopal had to settle for a 73-70 defeat against the Lions.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy earned a 66-57 victory over the Yellowjackets on Saturday. The win was just what St. Joseph Academy needed coming off of a 77-41 loss in their prior game.
Oscar Balli was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikey Rivera, who scored 15 points.
TMI-Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
TMI-Episcopal was able to grind out a solid victory over the Bloodhounds when the teams last played back in January, winning 82-69. Will TMI-Episcopal repeat their success, or do the Bloodhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
