It was a good run, but Triad unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fairbanks Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.
Avery Eaton paced Triad's offense, picking up 12 kills. Eaton got some help from Jenna Jones and her 26 assists. Sara Pratt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Fairbanks can attribute much of their success to Adalyn Castle, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave Castle a new career-high.
Triad's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Fairbanks, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
