Itasca had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-17 win over the Meyer Ravens. The Wampus Cats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 29 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Meyer had strong showings from Skylar Hicks, who posted 11 points, and Avi Harris, who had a point. That was a full 64.7% of Meyer's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Itasca's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Meyer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Itasca will venture away from home to challenge Rio Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meyer, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Meyer Ravens take on the Hillsboro Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on December 27th.
