Dane Wadkins and Anthony Bereal provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Fontana. The connection went for 86 yards, the longest such play in River Valley this season.
Moreno Valley was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Vikings defeated the Steelers 27-17.
Henry Batista was the best wideout in the league this week as Ramona fell to Poly. Batista racked up 2 receptions for 104 yards. Byron Mayes helped Ramona's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 62 yards.
JD HERNANDEZ was a passing and rushing force as Patriot defeated Perris. He completed 4 passes for 100 yards and also ran for 196 yards.
Wadkins threw for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns. He went 9-18 with 1 interceptions.
HERNANDEZ was the best running back in River Valley this week. MARCUS FRENCH also contributed to the rushing game with 46 yards on the ground.
Wadkins put up the best numbers through the air as Moreno Valley topped Fontana. Wadkins' favorite target this week was Ronald Gaither, who caught 3 passes for 109 yards.
The Rams' Damon Mayes and Mayes have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Mayes has thrown for 433 yards this season, while Mayes has 6 catches for 152 yards. The Warriors' HERNANDEZ leads the league in rushing yards with 196.
Ramona lost to the Bears 45-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Mayes threw for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 13 yards in the loss.
