Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Isaac Espinosa stepped things up a notch to give Montgomery the 'W'. Espinosa picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss). The performance also marked the most rushing yards (37) he has had since back in October of 2024.

Espinosa and Montgomery will be playing at home against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aztecs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals thanks in part to Espinosa: he picked up a sack and made 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
