Pine Forge Academy will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Mercy Career & Technical at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Back in January, Pine Forge Academy was fully in charge, breezing past the 65-36 on the road.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mercy Career & Technical walked away with it. They breezed by the Wolfpack at home to the tune of 73-43 on Wednesday. Mercy Career & Technical's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Anthony Caple was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 21 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Taji Stewart, who scored 15 points.
Pine Forge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mercy Career & Technical, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Pine Forge Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against the in their previous matchup back in December of 2015, sneaking past 45-43. Will Pine Forge Academy repeat their success, or do the have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
