Basketball Recap: St. David's Skates Past Wake Christian Academy with Ease

St. David entered their tilt with Wake Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed past the Bulldogs to the tune of 70-28. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. David's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giorgios Panagos, who went 9-for-15 en route to 23 points and four steals. The matchup was Panagos' fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Will Migdal was another key player, shooting 67% from the field on his way to 19 points and four steals.

St. David's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Wake Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

St. David's will take on South Wake in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wake Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-46 loss against Coastal Christian on the 13th.
