On Wednesday, Tri-West Hendricks earned a 63-50 victory over Speedway. Given Tri-West Hendricks' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Speedway is ranked 248th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Drew Miller, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Jimmy Sorgi was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-36, which was the final score in Crawfordsville's tilt against McCutcheon on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crawfordsville in their matchups with McCutcheon: they've now lost seven in a row.
Tri-West Hendricks' victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Crawfordsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
