The Vandalia Vandals will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Wesclin Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Vandalia has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
After soaring to 65 points the game before, Vandalia were a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They were outmatched by Centralia at home and fell 50-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Vandalia has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Wesclin unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They were beaten by Greenville 59-28. Wesclin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-16.
Vandalia has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Wesclin, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Vandalia was able to grind out a solid win over Wesclin in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 72-65. Does Vandalia have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wesclin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
