Jordan was the 67-56 winner over Lakewood when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Jordan Panthers took an 80-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakewood Lancers on Friday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jordan's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-4. As for Lakewood, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Jordan will take on Millikan in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakewood, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Villa Park at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Villa Park knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Lakewood likes a good challenge.
