The Moody Bearcats are taking a road trip to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moody will be strutting in after a win while Hamilton will be coming in after a defeat.

Zayden Heaton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases.
In other batting news, Ace Archer was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Logan Croft was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Hamilton lost 10-1 to Valley Mills on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Bauman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Hamilton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Moody, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.
