The Toronto Red Knights will venture away from home to take on the Beaver Local Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Toronto took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They blew past Heartland Christian 26-2. That looming 26-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Knights yet this season.

Laney Danko made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jaylee Brown was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and four RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. JJ Rebich also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Toronto was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Beaver Local hadn't done well against Indian Creek recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Beavers put the hurt on the Redskins with a sharp 12-3 victory. That's two games straight that the Beavers have won by exactly nine runs.
Ciara Call made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Call was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Calleigh Eells, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tori Druschel, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Beaver Local's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Toronto, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.
Both Toronto and Beaver Local just can't seem to miss. The Red Knights have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Beaver Local struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.9 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Toronto's way against Beaver Local when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Toronto made off with a 12-0 win. Will the Red Knights repeat their success, or do the Beavers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
