Rifle fell hardest in the standings, dropping from second all the way to fifth place after going 1--1 in the past week.
Palisade (2-1, 1-0) is the No. 1 team in the league.
The Bears' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing one hit and two walks to lead the league in both categories.
Four batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Troy Levinson, who hit .800 by going 4-for-5.
With four runs batted in this week, Rifle's
Danny Bartels increased his league-leading total in that category to seven.
Caden Woods was an RBI machine on Tuesday, as he knocked in four runs during the Bulldogs' 13-2 win over
Delta. He went 3-for-4 and scored one run.
Bartels struck out eight in the Bears' 10-6 win over
Hotchkiss on March 12. Over four innings of work, he gave up two hits and one run.
