 Back at the plate, Central got a  massive  performance out of  Gerritt Griggs, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Griggs has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last 11 times she's  played.  Bria Allen was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles.
 Central pushed their record up to 28-3-1 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Opelika, they now  have a losing record at 14-15.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Central beat Opelika by a score of  13-0.
