The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders waltzed into their contest Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Grace Christian 66-40. The result was nothing new for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, who have now won four matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
DOMINIC GAGNON was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 21 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of WILL JACKSON, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Grace Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ the Cornerstone Academy and Varsity Opponent will face off on January 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Grace Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Liberty Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. Liberty Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
