On Friday Welsh take on Kaplan at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Welsh took care of business in their home opener. They took their match against Rayne last week by a conclusive 41-16 score.
Meanwhile, Kaplan might have drawn first blood against Acadiana, but it was Acadiana who got the last laugh. Kaplan fell to Acadiana 20-27.
Welsh's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Kaplan's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Welsh's success rolls on or if Kaplan are able to steal their positive momentum.
