North Myrtle Beach extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 18-6 in the process. They came out on top against the St. James Sharks by a score of 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-0 victory on April 10th.

Not much got past Sawyer Smith, who gave up just two hits to keep St. James off the board. Smith has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Asa Board, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. CJ Oxendine was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

As for St. James, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

On St. James' side, they got a good showing from Dylan Victoria, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits Victoria has allowed since back in March.

As of now, neither North Myrtle Beach nor St. James have any future games scheduled.
