The Meadowcreek Mustangs lost against the Peachtree Ridge Lions back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Meadowcreek took a 57-43 bruising from Peachtree Ridge. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Meadowcreek in their matchups with Peachtree Ridge: they've now lost eight in a row.

Wright continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adonai Mussie, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.

Meadowcreek will head out on the road to challenge North Gwinnett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Gwinnett knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Meadowcreek likes a good challenge. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Duluth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Duluth is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
