Volleyball Recap: Pine View Wins Going Away Against Cedar

Pine View won the last time they faced Cedar and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Reds with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 25-13.

Nathan Mitchell paced Pine View's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mitchell got some help from Isaiah Warner and his 23 assists. Warner also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Anthone Luekenga, racking up six apiece.

Pine View's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Cedar, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-10.

Pine View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Snow Canyon on the 3rd. As for Cedar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Desert Hills on the 3rd.
