Halifax Academy might have drawn first blood against Cocoa Beach on Friday, but it was Cocoa Beach who got the last laugh. Halifax Academy came up short against Cocoa Beach, falling 20-33. If Halifax Academy were expecting to get some payback for the 18-50 defeat against Cocoa Beach the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. The game pushed Halifax Academy down to 1-2 and pulled Cocoa Beach up to the reverse at 2-1.
Next week Halifax Academy take on Avant Garde Academy at 5:00 PM. As for Cocoa Beach, they will face off against Father Lopez.
