The McKenzie Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Pleasant Home by a score of 55-52. McKenzie has struggled against Pleasant Home recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylen Mcmillian, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. Mcmillian hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Jay Jackson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
McKenzie has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Pleasant Home, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-7.
McKenzie will play host again and welcome Shields, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shields has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three contests. Pleasant Home's road trip will continue as they head out to face Georgiana at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Georgiana will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
