The Charlotte Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The New Year welcomed they with a 76-32 whooping from Sabinal. Charlotte was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-10.
Sabinal got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andres Reyes out in front who scored 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Tre Morgan was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Charlotte's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-19. As for Sabinal, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Charlotte will be playing at home against La Pryor at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Pryor comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Sabinal, they will head out on the road to face off against Stacey at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stacey and Sabinal are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
