St. Anne-Pacelli enjoyed a cozy 55-37 win over the Hawks on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for St. Anne-Pacelli, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
St. Anne-Pacelli got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mckayla Hosley out in front who scored 13 points along with five steals. Hosley has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jayla Moore, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
St. Anne-Pacelli pushed their record up to 14-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-3.
St. Anne-Pacelli won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Greater Atlanta Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Vikings are ranked 74th). Heritage's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
