Immaculata owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sayreville Bombers, sneaking past 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Rob Sikorski, who gave up just three hits to keep Sayreville off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jayden Capindica, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Immaculata's record is now 9-4. As for Sayreville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immaculata will face off against Warren Hills Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sayreville, they will square off against Kennedy Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Bombers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
