The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lakers of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
 Isabella Johnson paced Windermere Prep's offense, picking up 11 kills. Johnson got some help from  Aarna Verma and her 13 assists. Johnson also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Stella Szilard, each putting up two.
 McKeel Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Presley Johnson, who  had 15  digs and ten  aces. Those  ten  aces gave  Johnson a new career-high.  Hope Ring was another key player,  getting four  aces and one assist.
Windermere Prep has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record  this season. As for McKeel Academy, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-8.
 Windermere Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McKeel Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newberry  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
