The Ellenville Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Chester Hambletonians at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ellenville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Ellenville ended up a good deal behind Spackenkill and lost 60-41. Ellenville has struggled against Spackenkill recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nevaeh Ramos, who scored 20 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Roller, who scored seven points along with 15 rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Chester earned a 35-25 win over Fallsburg on Thursday.
Ellenville has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Chester, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
