The Lebanon Yellowjackets lost against the Central Bulldogs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lebanon took a serious blow against Central, falling 90-54. Lebanon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-18.
Lebanon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wyatt Carr, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. It was the first time this season that Carr posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Ray, who scored nine points along with six assists.
Lebanon has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season. As for Central, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will take on Waynesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lebanon is facing Waynesville at the right time seeing as Waynesville is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Camdenton at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
