With a playoff win on the line, Kettle Run rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Lafayette Rams 27-7. Considering the Cougars have won ten contests by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Kettle Run's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Mulhern, who threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Mulhern also racked up 17 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September. Colton Quaker was another key back, rushing for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

Kettle Run's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Lafayette, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 13-1 record.
Kettle Run wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-6 defeat against Liberty Christian on the 14th. Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
