With a playoff game on the line, the Chaminade Eagles rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 60-49 win over the Saints. The win was some much needed relief for Chaminade as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Kamden Edwards had an outrageously good game as he scored 19 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Amir Johnson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Chaminade's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-12. As for San Dimas, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.
Chaminade will take on Murrieta Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Murrieta Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 18 contests. San Dimas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
