The Paramus Catholic Paladins were the 80-63 winner over the Kennedy Knights when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Paramus Catholic fell just short of Kennedy by a score of 51-48.
Kennedy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Mason , who scored ten points along with five assists and five steals. Another player making a difference was Miach Pierce, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.
Paramus Catholic's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-1. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Paramus Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Rutgers Prep at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kennedy will be home for the holidays to greet Wayne Hills at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
