Steamboat Springs' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Macee Wettlaufer, who had 17 digs and four assists, and Sammy Coleman, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Coleman has posted since back in September.
Meanwhile, Moffat County came up short against Roaring Fork on Thursday and fell 3-1.
While Moffat County ultimately came up short, they really made Roaring Fork work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-8, 25-27, 26-24.
Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Steamboat Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
