Hammock continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Simone Minnifield, who scored 8 points.
Kinston has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Pike Liberal Arts 53-5 on the road.
Geneva's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Kinston, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Everything came up roses for Geneva against Kinston in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 54-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Geneva since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
