Basketball Recap: Lincoln Skates Past Lakeland with Ease

While Lincoln didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by the Lakeland Vikings to the tune of 54-27 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cardinals have posted since February 8th.

The victory made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Lakeland, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lincoln will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Concordia at 9:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Lakeland, they will head out to challenge Chilhowee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland is facing Chilhowee at the right time seeing as Chilhowee is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
