Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gunter walked away with it. They walked away with a 42-32 victory over the Wall Hawks on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Despite the loss, Wall still got an impressive performance from Landon York, who threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. York has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last nine times he's played.

Gunter's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Wall, the loss snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 13-2 record.

Gunter will take on Woodville in a holiday battle at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Woodville: 14, Gunter: 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Wall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
