Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Bellflower). They claimed a resounding  63-7 victory over the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix. Considering the Buccaneers have won four games by more than 21  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jordan Hunter was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 118 yards and a pair of  TDs, and also caught one  score. His longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.
 Hunter was just one part of a punishing run game: Bellflower was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 326  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
The  win made it two in a row for Bellflower and  bumps their season record up to 6-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7  points in those games. As for Compton Early College, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record  this season.
