Champaign Central won the last time they faced Manual and things went their way on Thursday too. The Maroons came out on top against the Rams by a score of 2-0.

Champaign Central easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.

Champaign Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Champaign Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Taylorville on the 26th. As for Manual, they will be playing at home against Normal Community at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ironmen will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
