The Nebraska Lutheran Knights  took care of business in their home opener  on Saturday (and then some). They blew past Meridian 57-33. That's another feather in the cap for Nebraska Lutheran, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Among those leading the charge was   Lukas Worster, who  scored 13 points along with 7  steals. Another player making a difference was  Caleb Eldridge, who  scored 7 points along with 5  rebounds.
 Nebraska Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Meridian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nebraska Lutheran will take on St. Edward at TBD on Tuesday. As for Meridian, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Cross County.
