Baseball Recap: Nemo Vista Extends Winning Streak to Three

Nemo Vista entered their tilt with Danville on Monday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over the Danville Little Johns. That's more bragging rights for the Red Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nat Paladino was a standout: he scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-4. Paladino is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Gabe Duvall, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Nemo Vista now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Danville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nemo Vista will venture away from home to take on Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nemo Vista knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Sacred Heart likes a good challenge. As for Danville, they will head out to face off against Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
