With a playoff win on the line, Liberty rose to the challenge on Saturday. They beat the Colfax Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 53-42. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Liberty's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points over those games. As for Colfax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will host Okanogan at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Liberty is facing Okanogan at the right time seeing as Okanogan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Colfax, they will be playing at home against Tri-Cities Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tri-Cities Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Colfax surely won't give up without a fight.
