It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flint River Academy can now relate to. They were dealt  an  84-55 defeat at the hands of the Grace Christian Academy Cougars on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, Flint River Academy got some senior leadership from  Jamir Muhammad and  D. J. Baums.  Muhammad  posted 19 points in addition to six  rebounds and three  steals, while  Baums  almost  dropped  a double-double with ten  points and nine  boards. Muhammad's afternoon made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Newman, who  scored six  points and eight  boards.
 Even though they lost, Flint River Academy  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 34 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
Flint River Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Grace Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.
 Flint River Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will face off against Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Grace Christian Academy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Robert Toombs Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
